Everything you need to know about buying, selling, building, and restoring
with Gibson Motor Group.
Buying & Inventory
Yes. We have relationships with several lending partners who
specialize in classic and collector car financing. Rates and terms
vary based on the vehicle, loan amount, and your credit profile.
Contact us and we'll connect you with the right financing option for
your purchase.
Absolutely. We encourage independent inspections and are happy to
coordinate with any inspector you choose. We want you to be
completely confident in your purchase. All vehicles are sold as-is,
and we recommend thorough due diligence.
Our inventory turns over regularly — often weekly. The best vehicles
move fast, sometimes within hours of being listed. If you see
something you're serious about, don't wait. We also recommend
signing up for notifications or checking the site frequently.
We consider trades on a case-by-case basis. If you have a vehicle
you'd like to trade toward a purchase, reach out with details and
we'll evaluate it. We're especially interested in well-maintained
classics, muscle cars, and unique examples.
Selling & Consignment
Submit your vehicle through our Sell Your Classic form with photos,
details, and your asking price expectations. Our team reviews every
submission and will contact you within 48 hours to discuss
consignment terms, pricing strategy, and next steps.
Consignment terms are discussed individually based on the vehicle's
value, market demand, and expected time to sell. We offer
competitive rates and are transparent about all costs upfront.

In many cases, yes. We purchase vehicles outright for our inventory
when they fit our acquisition criteria. The offer depends on the
vehicle's condition, market demand, and our assessment. Submit your
vehicle for a no-obligation evaluation.
Restoration & Custom Builds
Timelines vary dramatically based on the scope of work. A
concours-level restoration typically takes 12–24 months. A
performance restomod runs 8–18 months. A driver-quality refresh can
be completed in 4–12 months. Every project starts with a detailed
timeline estimate after we assess the vehicle.
While we have deep expertise in American muscle and classics —
especially Ford vehicles — we work on a wide range of makes and
eras. From pre-war classics to 90s icons, if it's built right and
means something to you, we're interested. Contact us with your
specific vehicle for a candid assessment.
A restoration returns the vehicle to factory-correct specifications
— original parts, finishes, and configurations. A restomod preserves
the classic look but upgrades the mechanicals with modern
technology: fuel injection, upgraded brakes and suspension, air
conditioning, modern audio. Restomods drive like modern cars but
look like classics.
Vehicle Sourcing
You tell us what you're looking for — make, model, year range,
condition, budget. We activate our nationwide network of collectors,
dealers, auction contacts, and private sellers. We vet candidates,
provide detailed inspection reports, and handle negotiations,
paperwork, and transport when you find the right car.
Our sourcing service includes the search, candidate evaluation,
detailed inspections, negotiation, title work, and coordination of
transport. Fees are discussed upfront based on the complexity of
your search. There are no hidden costs or surprises.
That's exactly what we do best. Our network gives us access to
vehicles that never hit public listings — private collections,
estate sales, and off-market opportunities. The more specific your
request, the better we can target the search. We've tracked down
everything from matching-numbers Shelbys to one-of-one special
orders.
Dyno & Services
We operate a modern chassis dynamometer capable of handling
high-horsepower applications. Our dyno provides real wheel
horsepower and torque readings, wideband air/fuel ratio monitoring,
and full data logging. It's suitable for everything from stock
classic cars to 1,000+ horsepower race builds.
When operated by experienced professionals, dyno testing is safe and
standard practice. Our operator has thousands of pulls under his
belt. That said, all testing is performed at the owner's risk — we
recommend ensuring your engine is in good mechanical condition
before scheduling a session. We also offer pre-dyno inspections for
peace of mind.
Of course. Many of our customers enjoy being present for their
session. We'll walk you through the numbers in real time and explain
what the data means. We're enthusiasts first — sharing knowledge is
part of what makes this fun.
